More Sisterly Love ~ Best Shot Monday

I can’t stop photographing the two girls together lately. This is what? The tenth photo of the two of them in the past two weeks?

Maybe it is because I am missing my sister. Or maybe I feel compelled to document the love between the girls while I can, for I’m sure I’ll need to pull some of these photos out to remind us all of a simple time when they were just happy to be together.

I love happy “accidents.” When you think you know which shot is going to be your absolute favorite, and then as they are downloading the photos, one catches your eye. A shot that you thought was a “throw-away,” but it jumps out, and really speaks to you.

That was this one. Probably not technically the “best” shot I took all week, but the pure love you can feel radiating from the two of them – it literally makes my heart feel like it will explode when I stare at it. So therefore, it is my Best Shot this fine Monday.

Friday Fun Fotos ~ A whole lotta dancin’ going on…

More from our visit with the Cancios. Lauren was showing us her hip-hop dance moves and my girls couldn’t resist dancing along with her.

Check out Ad’s feet – they are OFF the ground! -

Oops. And her skirt is ON the ground -

Yeah, I was behind them, so I got all bottoms…in all the shots. But how cute are they??

Total “Dancing Queens.”

Sometimes the most memorable and fun afternoons are spent doing a whole lot of nothing with good friends.

Can you feel the love…

Our whirlwind trip ended in the “Windy City,” visiting our best friends and hanging out for a very short 36 hours or so. We miss you all already.

However our little visit provided some really cute photo ops. I could shoot photos of Em and Lauren all day long. They are both so beautiful and (obviously) fully accustomed to being little models.

Can you feel the love between the two of them?

Stay tuned tomorrow for fun photos of the dance, dance, revolution session in Kim’s living room. It was a treat. Plus I have all kinds of stuff stored up that I’ll try to get down out of my head as well.

Cuteness times 4?!

It might be cuteness overload. J and I are getting to see what having 4 children would be like. As much as I love Little Em and Connor, I am very thankful that we get to send them back at the end of the weekend. Four is hard work! And they are being great – very well behaved, I just can’t imagine what it would be like if all four were having an “off” day at the same time. Yikes.

Anyhow – that is what we are doing this weekend. Just chillin’ and enjoying the sun. Hope you are all having a great weekend. We’ll see you Michiganders in 3 days!

I see how it is.

I see how you all are…I don’t post anything yesterday and I have the MOST visits ever? Is that a hint, I should be writing less? Ha!

I’m sure that I will be writing a little less this week with Lauren, Kim & Will here. Yes, they made it all intact and happy. Em and Lauren have already had their first little fight – such a love/hate relationship between those two.

Right now they are “dancing” to Jack’s Big Music Show and having a great time. Addie is a little out-of-sorts because of a rough night last night, but also because her big sister wants nothing to do with her now that Lauren is here. And A. really doesn’t think much of Baby Will. She really, really doesn’t like it when he tries to get near me. Apparently A. is a little bit of a green-eyed monster when it comes to Mommy.

But we are off to have some fun, we’ll catch up soon.

Excited doesn’t begin to describe it.

I think Emma may spontaneously combust before tomorrow. She has asked me twenty times since 9 am this morning, “Tomorrow is Lauren coming?” “When we get up tomorrow, Lauren will be here?” “My best friend Lauren will be here tomorrow, right Mom?”

As annoying as it is – I completely feel the same way. Tomorrow! Tomorrow, Kim is coming! This time tomorrow we will have Kim, Lauren, and Will all to ourselves for nearly a week!

And I haven’t even mentioned the fact that Uncle J. might be able to get us into Disney this weekend. If you hear a *POP* this weekend that will be my daughter. Exploding. From complete and utter excitement that only best friends and Mickey can bring.
