Do you know why was I most excited when I found out that Addie was a girl?
Mostly because I knew I would be able to give Em one of the best gifts ever.
A sister.

A sister to love. A sister to commiserate with. A sister with strong shoulders to cry on. A sister to share all of life’s wonders with. Having a sister means always having a best friend when you need it most.
And I know all of this because I have had the joy of having a sister for some 30-ish years now,
and look forward to many more years to come.
