Tracey’s Theme Thursday this week is “begin.”

I took this photo last weekend after we bought a new strawberry plant. The girls are so, SO excited about the tiny little strawberries and I really liked how the tiny beginning of a berry was highlighted by the sunlight, as the rest of the plant was in the shade. So that is our “begin” for the week.

Tracey’s theme for today is “Glee.”

What says “glee” more than the look of utter joy on the faces of two girls flying through the air in their swings on a summer evening.

(Yeah, yeah, yeah…I had 2 photos again. I’m telling you I can’t choose between two pics that are both so cute – I mean, look at those toes!)

Tracey at Picture This started a “Theme Thursday” last week that I missed out on because of our vacation. But I love this idea, so I’ll try to participate when I can.

This week’s theme is “Imagine” and the first picture that popped into my head is this one that J. took last week of the girls. It makes me teary-eyed every time I look at it because when I look at it, I can’t imagine life without the two of them. I can only imagine what beautiful women they are going to turn into and what amazing things the future holds for them. And I imagine (and hope) that this is only the beginning of a lifetime-long, beautiful friendship between the two of them. Imagine the possibilities…
