Dipy Week #19 ~ Signs

Once again my fantastic partner shot outside the box and came up with her very clever shot for Signs. (Do you remember your sign language alphabet?)

I went with the sign that posts our countdown and the sign of good things to come.  June 12th…our official start of summer!

  1. Our end of the year is today!!! Can you hear my excitement? Vienne got out of the bed today faster then she has ALL year long. I had to laugh though that your early dismissal is at 1:30 and our early dismissal is 11:30! I always laugh at 11:30 cuz it really seems like to0 much work to get the girls to school for just a few hours.

  2. I love that both photos are primarily black and white. That really ties them in together. Yippee for summer vacation!!!

  3. I love both these shots. Let’s start celebrating summer now! My kids totally agree. And sign language is a great way to think of signs. My partner used that one too. :)

  4. you guys both rocked it this week! The reflections in your are so cool, almost like a rainbow. We’ve been enjoying a carefree summer for a couple weeks now, but school starts back next week for me. And sign language – asking if I remember it assumes I once knew it!

  5. Your shot is just perfect this week. It’s exactly what I had in mind but couldn’t execute. LOL! I know everyone else has already said it, but I love your processing.

Oh, and I’m sorry I keep forgetting to link to your blog. I intend to every time and then forget. I’ll try to do better next week!

  6. Oh, very cool! Yes, we have the school countdown, too. Kai’s last day is the 10th. Guess I need to get cracking on those teacher gifts, huh??

  7. Love the combo! It’s so strange to me that you guys aren’t done with school until almost mid-June! Around here everyone is done before the end of May!

  8. Love that – “SCHOOL’S OUT. FOR. SUMMER…” I finally just uploaded my sign to Flickr tonight – Yeah, I’m pathetic.
