If there is one thing I hate more than photos of myself, it is a self portrait. Of course, I agonized over what to do and how to shoot this for so long, I literally had a 10-minute window to try to get something this afternoon, just so I could send it to Kimberly in time. So while Kimberly looks all glam in non-mommy clothes, make-up and all – you get me how I usually look on any given Wednesday. T-shirt, jeans, no make-up…and like I am many days, peeking out from behind my camera.
(We still make a pretty sweet looking duo though, huh?)

I’m all natural in my mine as well. I figure….that’s how I look 98% of the time. 
Yes indeed, a GREAT looking duo! And the jeans, t-shirt, no makeup ensemble is pretty much me on any given day, too.
You said it. I struggled with what to do to, and while I someday want a picture where I’m all dolled up again without remnants of lunch on my sweatshirt, I have a feeling that the images of us as we are tell more of a story.

I see this dip as you the photographer and she as the subject, like you are photo-ing her right this moment. And, although Kimberly does look all dolled up, most of the time I’m sure she, like all of us, are right there with you. It’s a fanstastic pairing. Great job.

I am totally digging what Melody had to say. What a cool way of looking at our duo. And come to think of it, I agree with Jen too. If I looked like you au natural, I’d have shot myself that way. I need a little extra work though.

Yes, you make a pretty sweet looking duo! I am more on Kimberly’s side where I prepare when I take a photo, but a natural photo is good stuff too. My kids take them of me all the time, where they ask to take pictures with my camera. I won’t necessarily share those photos of me in my snuggies and no makeup and barely combed hair, though…
