This & That Thursday

  • Yep, it is Thursday, albeit a little later than I usually post, it is still Thursday, and still early since we are now back in the correct time zone!
  • There is nothing better than sleeping in your own bed.
  • I take that back. There is nothing better than being picked up by your husband at the airport (who you missed horribly!), sitting back while he navigates the traffic back home, walking into a spic-n-span clean house, taking a shower, and sliding into fresh, clean, warm-from-the-dryer sheets. In your own bed.
  • Yes, I know. He IS a gem. And no, you can’t have him.
  • Thank you to all of our hosts on our whirlwind tour of Michigan and the greater Chicagoland area. We had a great time and miss you all already.
  • I have over a 1200 photos to sift through and post. That is TWELVE HUNDRED. And I feel like I didn’t even really pick up my camera much.
  • I’ll get right on those. Right after I work on the laundry, grocery shopping, and tackle that stack of mail and bills.
  • And I’ll get right on all of that…right after one more cup of coffee.

  1. Sounds like you’re going to be a busy lady.. 1200 photos! My goodness! Glad you made it home safe and hope you get back into the routine of things easily. :)

  2. Glad to hear you are back in the land of sunshine safely and soundly. I still am feeling so badly about missing you on Wednesday but life just gets too jammed up at times. How great that James picked you up and you had such a clean, comfortable homecoming and night’s sleep. Don’t even think about all that you have to do until tomorrow! :) )

  3. Lauren totally wanted to skype with Emma today and I kept putting her off…. maybe tomorrow!
    Miss you!

  4. Hi Bean, So glad you and the girls made it home safely..
What a great husband you have. It’s always nice to return home and have everything nice and clean hey?
We sure enjoyed your visit, only wish it didn’t have to end so soon.
    We all miss you already.
    Love to all of you
