Crafty Tuesday

I am still traveling but I do have something for today. When I was on my wide-leg lounge pants kick a few weeks back I actually made some for my friend’s birthday – but since I didn’t want to spoil the surprise, I didn’t post them then. And last week I was just too lazy and caught up with my nieces. But here they are.

I absolutely love this fabric, with the little birdy fetish I have going on right now.

And I have some leftover, so I think I’m going to make some little aprons for the girls with it.

Here was the finished project.

I’m excited to get home and make some more of these pants, next on the list is a pair for me! I may not get to all your crafty goodness today – but make sure to leave it below so I can see it when I get home tomorrow!

  1. Love that fabric, too! So cute and love the coordinating one you did to go with it. Yes, I think you need a pair for yourself, too. :) Great gift for your friend!

I have stuff up today…I’m working on Fall clothes. We had one week of summer last week and now we are back in the 70′s. Yay.

  2. That fabric is adorable. Where did you get it? You are making me want to make some of those lounge pants. I might have to break down and get that book.

  3. I got the fabric at a store downtown LA (in the garment district near where they shot this season’s Project Runway!) called Michael Levines. It is my absolute newest and most favorite place to spend money. I can only go every couple of months. Unfortunately I make up for it while I’m there! They have all of the Amy Butler fabrics there too…

  4. They look so cute! Love seeing the raw materials and then their full glory. Happy to be your partner in overpurchasing of fabric crime.
