It’s Our Favorite Place…Trader Joe’s

J. found this video last night and I think it does a good job documenting why we love (and love to hate) Trader Joe’s. Those of you the have been to one, or frequent TJs will think this is pretty funny. (Especially the part about stuff that isn’t there any more! Grrr…Chicken Chimichangas?)

Those of you who have no idea what Trader Joe’s is…might not see the humor. But the song is still very catchy and the man who made the video shot it all on his Palm Treo – so that is impressive.

I especially love the part about the “beautiful moms in yoga pants,” – and oh yes, I will be cracking out the yoga pants for my pilgrimage there later this week. Hee.

  1. That’s cute. I have never heard of Trader Joes so clearly we don’t have one here – looks neat. Did you know in Canada we can only buy our liquor form a liquor store? That’s right no six pack of beer from walmart or safeway.

  2. One of these days I will have to make it to Trader Joes. It’s probably less than a half hour from me, but I’ve never been! I’m already addicted to Costco…I don’t need another grocery store addiction. ;)

  3. I’ve never been to TJs so I probably don’t fully “get it” – but I still find it pretty darn amusing! One day, I WILL get to Trader Joes!

  4. We LOVE Trader Joe’s. Man, it sucks when they just don’t have something you love anymore. I’m now forwarding this video to at least 7 people. lol

  5. That video is awesome! I don’t live near a Trader Joe’s but was able to visit while on a trip to California and I do love their stuff! I’ve mentioned it on my blog a few times and people have even sent me stuff! : ) Too fun!

  6. That is too funny! Boy can I relate to it. What was also amusing to me was the very different products that that TJ’s has vs the one on the East Coast that I go to.
