Addie-tude ~ Best Shot Monday

I know someday her iron will, independent spirit and stubborn streak is going to serve her well. And, yes, I do want her to grow into a strong and liberated young woman…

But, whew boy!

If I hear “I wanted to do it, Mama!” one more time before she dissolves into yet another fit of tears…I may just throw myself off of the top of that jungle gym!  (AND, she is now big enough to open the car door from the outside by herself. How on earth did that happen?)

I mean, just look at this Addie-tude! I think this photo pretty much says it all. She is a 3-year old girl on a mission!

And I wouldn’t change one tiny piece of her for anything.

  1. And that’s all it is, independence. We all have to have on stong willed child or it wouldn’t be fair. Love those curls, ugh.

  2. sometimes reading your words is like deja vu. It never ceases to amaze me how Addie and Nadia are like twins born to different parents. I feel ya, sistah!

  3. Love that first shot…. the light is amazing. Very nice.
I think Will has a little Addie-tude. Maybe we shouldn’t be getting them together. Might be disastrous!

  4. I get that phrase EVERY day, myself! “I WANT to do it!!” then meltdown. Sheesh! Harrison has been opening his car door for a while now, I have a small car.

  5. She is adorable…and sounds exactly like my little blondie! We are SO IN FOR IT! Has she done the eye roll to you yet?? Whew…I’m not sure I’m ready. ;)

  6. Addie and Francesco should get together. He is such a strong willed child as well. I am hoping that it will translate into a persistent adult that does not given easily. Right now though I wish he would give in to me just a little.

  7. I hear ya! I love your first picture. Those curls are breathtaking. What a beautiful girl you have. Feisty can be good. :)
