Storytelling ~ Theme Thursday

I haven’t had a spare minute to go out and shoot photos for this week’s Theme Thursday which was storyteller. I did have the perfect photo in mind, though. And I will get it shot, but between a little ER visit for Addie (she is doing much better – just a start of an ear infection, now) and the chaos that is our life over here, the photo might not get taken until sometime early spring!

So to stretch the theme a little, I’ll tell a little story with the Pumpkin Patch photos from last weekend. Make sure to stop over to Stacy’s for some other fun stories.

Enjoy!

  1. I bet the face paint was a hit with the girls.

Bummer about Addies ear infection- at least it won’t go spending around the house.

  2. Glad to hear Addie is ok. ER visits suck.
In regards to your quest for muffins, I have a couple of recipes I’ve been meaning to try so as soon as I do (and if they work!) I’ll send those to you.
    take care,
    ~kat:)

  3. Cute face painting! I bet they liked it too. There are so many fun things to do at the pumpkin patch.

Although I’m sorry to hear about the ER visit. Ear infections are such nasty buggers, I went through more than I care to count with W.W. Hope it clears up quickly!

  4. Wow face painting and a pumpkin patch?? That looks like fun! Love those shots. Sorry to hear Addie had to go to the ER – poor little thing. Hope she recovers real soon.

  5. I love the face painting. I bet the girls loved it too. My favorite shot is the third one down. You can tell she is totally n the moment and trying to be still while he paints. So cute.

  6. Face painting at the pumpkin patch – now that is seriously cool! We (finally!) made it to the patch this morning, but with both of us a little sick and a whiny kid that had a potty accident (!) it wasn’t quite what I’d hoped. Oh well. Anyway, N says “they are boo-ful butterfly pricesses and my friends!”

Sending lots of hugs and get well wishes for Ad! I’m making chicken soup for dinner tonight – I’ll send a virtual bowl of that, too.

  7. How fun to have face painting there!! Love the last one of Addie…she looks all tuckered out! Sorry to hear about the ear infection..those can be super painful! Hope she is feeling 100% soon!

  8. we haven’t made it to the pumpkin patch yet. I got sick with a cold this week and threw off the schedule.

Hey how about Huntington Library in the beginning of Nov.? We are free on Tuesdays & Thursdays after 11:30 and every other Thurday we are free all day. What’s your schedule?

  9. I always love your pumpkin patch shots — they always turn out so well! And what cool face painting…glitter and everything!

  10. what is up with that mag face painting they have out there???? do they hire “real” artists or something? All we get around here is a blob that resembles a flower or butterfly, etc.
