I had such good intentions this weekend, I even had a few hours off, but alas I was only able to complete one layout for our Crafty Tuesday. I have decided that I am going to try to tackle the “big events” of 2007 and 2008 (oh, and maybe a few from 2006, too) and get them done before summer is over. I’m talking Christmases, Birthdays, maybe some vacations.
I think this one falls into my “big event” criteria…a layout focused on Em’s year of preschool.
I wanted to make sure that I got her first “class photo” archived. (Obviously I blurred out the photo – it is actually a pretty good photo – but I don’t have everyone’s permission to post their photos.)
I was inspired by some school-type embellishments that I got recently. I love the notebook paper and I used one of the library cards and tucked it behind the photo with the names of the kids so we would remember who they were, looking back.

I have about a million pictures waiting to be put in books…and with each passing day I think I’m closer to just slappin’ them into some generic photo albums.
Oh, well. At least I documented the events by taking pictures!
I love your Crafty Tuesday! Especially those cards from a couple weeks ago…that’s really my thing…paper crafts and making cards, invitations, etc.

Papa – The heart by Henry was because your granddaughter, when she was helping me remember all of the kids’ names said, “Oh…Henry! He was my boyfriend, remember Mama?” I figured if I put the little heart it would remind us years from now who her preschool crush was.
Christina – I am certain I ripped the idea off from someone else, so don’t give me all the credit!
