Sweet shoulder sunlight ~ Best Shot Monday

Imagine a long weekend filled with “tiny whinys” and constant (I am not exaggerating -from the very early minutes we got up until the moment they fell exhausted into bed) bickering. There was a lot of love lost between the two girls this weekend.

And then they pull a moment like this -

- and I almost forget the arguing. Almost.

But this sweet moment was forgotten just moments later, and the antagonizing continued for the rest of the weekend.

And then, I open this photo.

*sigh*

She is so gorgeous and so sweet. I can’t possibly be upset with her, can I?

I’m getting ready to print some favorite photos out. Do you like this one in color or in black & white? I can’t decide. Possibly I will just print both – I’m sure I can find a spot for both of them!

Make sure to stop by Tracey’s for some other sweetness this Monday morning.

  1. I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I like the b & w better. The b & w totally focuses on that sweet little face of hers as there is no distraction from the little bit of color.

I totally relate to the tiny whiny’s. I had 3 this weekend 2 of which when they opened their eyes and were in the same bed :o )

  2. that’s a tough call. love the warmth of the color, but the black & white really draws attention to her.

  3. Sweet moments like that in the midst of all the whiny ones are so soul-restoring! Ahhh! I hope today’s gone better with those two precious and percocious girls of yours.

Addie is beyond sweet there. You know I love B&W, but here I think I prefer the rosy-golden light of the color version.

  4. My two have those days where all it seems they do is tear at each other and bicker and wrestle and fight. But, like yours, they can be incredibly sweet and loving at times.
I think I like the photo in color better. I love the sort of washed color, almost a tinted look.

  5. Those are adorable shots — what a bummer that the weekend was filled with whine! Hopefully they’re over it now.

I like the second shot in black and white…although it’s so sweet, I don’t know that you can go wrong!

  6. I think I like the color one better. I know what you mean about the arguing, too. My kids are driving me batty!

BTW – I commented on your crafty post and it got spammed. It apparently doesn’t like my links. :)
