Crafty Tuesday

Taking a moment away from my crazy project (that is due today to the client…well, technically tomorrow, Wed., so really tonight, before I go to sleep – argh!) to show you what arrived on my doorstep for my birthday last week.

Ready for it?

My lovely friend Kim sent this to me…

Filled with this yumminess…

And I’ve only been able to steal a few minutes away to use it for two measly little Teacher Appreciation cards for Em’s teachers last week…

I am so dreaming of it and lusting after all the fun my new tote and I could be having.

Meanwhile it sits on my craft desk mocking me, willing me to come play.

Must…Return…To…Stupid…Work…Project.

The force is strong with this one. I have a feeling the cute little pink and brown tote may win this weekend. I hope it does, at least.

I also hope you all have some craftiness to share so I can sit whilst I’m brain dead tomorrow and enjoy a little blog surfing.

  1. Wow, Kim did well! That tote is so cute and love the embellishments. You will have lots of fun with all of that. :) Love the cards you made!

I made two dresses last week, and I realized this morning that I need to make two baby gifts this week before Saturday. Ugh. I should just go to the store and buy something, but that would be wayyyy too easy.

  2. Fun stuff!!!

Love the cards you made….I have that pack of die cut flowers because I thought they were so pretty but was not too sure what I was going to do with them! I am thinking of using initals with them to make “personalized” stationary sets. Melissa has lots of friends graduating high school this year so we are looking for a fun (not too expensive) thing we can do for presents.

  3. Love the cards! What a great idea using those little button things on the middle… you are so creative! I’m hoping to post my wonderful new crafting tote along with some Mothers Day cards I made… but I have to get my cleaning done first! Wish me luck. I’ll post a comment if I get my craftiness up.

  4. What a kick*ss birthday present!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are one lucky girl with a great friend. And the teacher appreciation cards?? I DREAM of being appreciated!!!!

  5. Oh my goodness, that tote is ADORABLE! And you made such cute cards with your new tools!

I have no craftiness to share…I’m using all of my energy to study for my biochem final. Well, other than the energy I am using for picture taking and blog reading….

  6. Big score for Kim – that stuff is too cute! And the pink/brown combo couldn’t be more perfect. Good luck finishing that monster of a project…just think how free you’ll feel tomorrow, knowing it’s DONE!
