Okay, I’m waaaay behind this month.
Let’s do a quick wrap-up of Month 5. I “kind of” completed it. The challenge again was to donate blood or sign up for the National Marrow Donor Program Registry.
I really did intend on doing both, but purely because I ran out of time, I didn’t get the donating blood part done. I did sign up to be an organ donor and I did my “swab test” for the Marrow Donor Program, so I feel like I fulfilled last month’s challenge. And I got a lot of comments from all of you saying you did one of the above three, too! So, hooray for us! Little steps, that is all it takes.
This month’s challenge is much easier and I think, even though we only technically have a few weeks to complete it, we should all be able to complete this one. This month’s challenge is to get out there and clean up a local park or playground. It can be as complex as a whole neighborhood clean-up drive or just picking up some trash while your little one swings at the park. Simple right? Let me know when/if you do this one so you can get credit.
I’m in on this one!
