Wow! We are on week 7 already? I should hardly be surprised as quickly as our days, weeks, months fly by around here lately.
But it is Team-Up Thursday time again and my turn to choose. I chose Friends. Thought I might be able to catch a few shots since we had Addie’s friend staying with us last week. I failed miserably on that front. But then I realized that I could just swing a camera around in any room in my house and be able to capture the sweetest image of friends.
And I figure most of you have been around here enough to know that I’m on the bottom and the deliciously dynamic other half of the duo, Kimberly, is on top.
Can you see the cool texture her photo has? I love that our shots are so similar and work well together – but they have just little glimpses of contrast. We both have two subjects, but she has boys, I have girls. Clearly chilly sweater-type weather and shot outdoors, but hers has definitely a darker, “boy” colored tone to it, and mine is like a rainbow exploded all over. Her guys are off in their own little world, my girls are looking directly at the camera. This is all really fascinating to me. And a very fun exercise even if I always leave it to the very last possible second. (Sorry K.!)

Ok, just what you wrote is what I said over at Kimberly’s!! Rephrased. Your sweet girls all pretty and happy and loving. Love how they are looking back too. So so sweet. I truly hope that my girls will be the best of friends one day. It’s the one thing that I stress to them all the time.
Awesome friend shots! I love the boys and the girls hanging out together and having a good time. Nice captures both.
I bet that shot is a new favorite of your girls. Both of them smiling and looking at the camera….just perfect. The contrast between the two shots definitely make it very interesting.
I am a sucker for kiddo shots. I love how your girls are all hugging on each other and the boys are all cool. My girlies will hug spontaneously from time to time and I am like “score!” when I get it on my camera Great job this week!
Wow, this is so sweet! I love the contrasting colors too…I agree, very boy and very girl
I am excited to join back in next week, I missed it!
Those are the sweetest!
Now that is the perfect contrast between boys and girls. Love it!! And yes ideed – sisters are the ultimate friends.
Love these shots! I can’t believe how big the girls are getting!
I was just saying to Kimberly I love the rough and tumble contrast to the sweet and cute. Great job!
did you have to bribe your two sweeties into looking that cute together? i love this pair — the epitome of the boy/girl contrast, and so perfect together. great dip!
it really is a sweet sweet set. so alike, yet so very different. Well done.
Where did my comment go? Ooh, don’t you hate when you write a big old comment and the webiverse eats it? Oh well. Love your sweet smiling girls and all that they represent. And I’m trying hard not to be envious of the happy way they mug for the camera either.
One shot with 2 girls….One shot with 2 boys. Could you be any more balanced this week for your theme? :0) Love it!
Another great week from you two!
And also — do you take requests?!
Finally checkin’ in and checking it out! I love the way you can compare the two photos in this project. It’s the hook really isn’t it? Your analysis is perfect and the pix radiate friendship….
What a great pair. I love how both pairs of friends are connected in such different ways.
