My girlfriend and her daughter & newborn son (more yummy newborn pictures) came down from the [too hot] Valley for a few hours yesterday.
How fun!
Well, at least that proves that you can have fun anywhere! I just heard somebody from California say on Saturday that it doesn’t get hot out there! Don’t know where she is — 100 sounds HOT to me. Darling picture of two darling girls!

When we were moving, and all our furniture was packed (except for the beds we needed that night), we had a picnic dinner on the family room floor. The kids thought it was great! Sometimes they’re so easy to please.
Over 100??? Are you serious? It has been cold here this month. Yes, I said COLD! Last night I left the windows open and woke up this morning freezing. I haven’t even been able to take the kids to the pool in two weeks because the water is too cold for the kids. Weather is crazy isn’t it?!
We have done that a few times before, too!! Last week when the upstairs a/c went out, we “camped out” in the living room for a couple days until it was fixed – N now thinks that’s what “camping” means! and that’s fine by me, hehe! Our weather has actually been really pleasant this week, tho
