Bad Hair Day

Bad hair day times three…that is what it has been around here with the three-girl household.

I think I solved my hair problems last week when I went to the spa (thanks Debby, Jeff and Wendy!). I had a gift certificate for the most amazing massage. That didn’t help my hair, but I treated myself to a haircut while I was there and my hair seems to be behaving much better.

E. and A.’s hair, however…

What do I do with my baby orangutan?

I love her little curls and they are so cute especially when she gets out of the bath, I don’t want to cut them off – but it is just a mangled, unmanageable mess. Seriously. Do I cut it or just let it “fly”?

Em’s has been much easier to take care of since she is fascinated with braids and how the “princesses wear their hair,” it is pretty easy to get it pulled back off of her face. But she is in need of a trim, too. And everytime I say I’ve got to get her haircut someone says how cute her bangs look pulled to the side. So, do I continue to let them grow out and tough it out through the “sweeping it out of her eyes” phase – or do you think she looks better with little girl bangs.

It is like Hair Idol – you vote, you decide. In or out. I’ll have the results at the end of the week.

  1. I can’t believe I’m commenting on hair. But…we discovered with our Emma that it was best to let the bangs grow. We went through a really tough period while they grew out, but now we’re happy.

  2. I was going to say the opposite but I have no expience at this. She does look much more grown-up with the long bangs and I thought the short bangs might be easier to manage.

  3. This is a hard one b/c I have 1 girl in the process of growing out her bangs (and It drove me nuts, but we agreed she had to keep it out of her face) and the other has bangs. But, if you want Emma to have all the same length hair go for it now!! And darling Miss A. — not sure you could get rid of those curls if you tried. I’m sure it’s hard for you right now, but it really is precious Care.

    Good Luck!!

  4. I’m not the one dealing with the “bad hair” days or having to care for two little girls…

…..but if my opinion counts for anything, I think my two little cousins are the cutest ever!! I really like Em with long bangs, she looks such like a little girl instead of a toddler. And curls, awww, I’ve always been envious of curls so I think Addie should keep ‘em!

  5. CUT HER BANGS! I just can’t handle how old she looks with her hair swept to the side. It is absolutely precious, but PLEASE keep her little. Okay…maybe I’m a little dramatic, but looking at my now 10 week old…I can’t come to grips with how fast the little ones are getting big.
