It has been a long time since J. and I have stayed up til midnight on New Year’s Eve. Usually we call our eastern time zone family at 9pm Pacific time and head to bed.
But I am in the frozen tundra of the East and the ball is getting ready to drop in 40 seconds, so I just want to wish all of you a very happiest of New Years.
And now I must fall into bed. I guess I’m too old for this?!

I made it all the way until 8 am…when I collapsed into bed and slept for HOURS. Don’t think I was doing anything other than working though…but how cool to see the ball drop!
