We had a lovely weekend filled with Santa visits, making gingerbread houses, shopping, and spending time with Daddy.
We are anxiously awaiting and anticipating Christmas this year. It really is amazing to experience Christmas through the eyes of your children.
Wishing you a week filled with anticipation and wonder of the season. Make sure to stop over to Tracey’s for more Best Shot Mondays, as well.
we have a certain little someone who can’t wait for christmas either. she keeps asking if we can open more than one day of the advent calendar at a time. i think she thinks this will make christmas come faster!
What a neat shot! Where did you get the house with all the doors? That would be fun.
Isn’t it great? I keep thinking about how pretty everything is and how not pretty it will be when Christmas is over.
Oh, I love your Advent calendar. One of these years I will get one! Have a wonderful week.
Hi Guys -
i got it on sale (right after Christmas) 2 years ago at Target – but they have them again this year, too! i fill ours with little ornaments and then the girls decorate a little tree next to it – rather than get candy…i figure sweets is the last thing they need!
advent calendars are the best!
We have a LEGO advent calendar…it has been fun but frankly, I might skip the avent calendar next year…the time seems to be going by too quickly with a daily reminder. I wish it was Dec 1st instead of the 15th~
I will miss the season when it’s gone…
YES, it is amazing to experience it through your child’s eyes!
That advent calendar is awesome! I love the idea of little ornaments instead of candy — what a health conscious mommy you are!
