Yeah, I’ve got nothing this week.
Well, that isn’t entirely true. The girls and I are working on “crafts” for the kippy party on Saturday.
And, I am organizing Ad’s scrapbook and putting it in order.
AND, I finally finished the huge collage frame that has been sitting in our room for a few months with random photographs in it. Here is a little pic of it -
If you go to our flickr account you can see the photos I chose for the collage. They are all favorites of mine.
I’m sure next week we’ll have lots to show, including the um…attempt at a doggy/kitty cake.
Oh! But check out Elisa and Melissa’s creations for their party. They took pictures of each guest with Melissa and then did the one-hour developing – so all of the guests went home with a clothespin photo holder and picture as a party favor. Cool, huh? I’m definitely filing that one away for a later party idea!
Do you have any crafts to share this week?
I just love the black and white collage…. it’s just beautiful!
I love the collage, too Care. I know they’re your favorites — I just happened to notice the one of Addie pulling Em’s hair with her screaming didn’t make it?!
Along the photo idea for the party. Shealyn has received a couple of thank you notes from parties that are a picture of her and the party diva with the thank you on the back. I think they were made up as postcards or cards.
that collage is awesome! I would love to do something like that. I’ll have to look more at the pictures on Flickr. I love that you have a row for each girl, and then they’re together in the middle row.
And one hour photo developing…sounds like my kinda of party! too cool.
GORGEOUS! I need to get some photos framed. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi! I am catching up on blogs in the midst of absolutely frantic work and musical commitments and had to laugh at your ‘I haven’t done anything for Crafty Tuesday’…hah!!
Firstly I love the way wrodpress lets you look at links in a pop up like that…very useful.
Secondly; that collage frame is amazing.
Thirdly, I like the clothespin idea too. I am so fed up with parents over here sending kids home with ENORMOUS bags of sweets (candy) and the odd balloon. What a cop out! Those photos are a real reminder of a lovely occasion.
