I can’t believe you are 4! I remember sitting in the waiting room, your cousin asleep on my shoulder, and your sister reading all the words she knew in the Bible to me. Then your dad sheepishly came out to tell us that you were here, you were beautiful, and you had a lot of hair! It feels just like yesterday.

We are all sad that we can’t be there to celebrate with you, but hopefully we’ll see you soon.

Um, also…you know how much your Aunt Bean loves you, right? And I seriously have had most of your gift for over two weeks, but alas NONE of your gift will be to you on time.
