Dipy Week #46 ~ White

white.jpg

We don’t have any of the WHITE stuff, like Kimberly here. But looking at her photo I can appreciate the beauty of snow – from the comfort of our own warm courtyard, which is where I shot my photo the other night.

I think you are either a WHITE Christmas lights or a colored lights kind of person. I definitely fall squarely in the WHITE lights camp. I think they look like stars and are just so pretty. Although I’m sensing some dissension among the ranks when I keep hearing how pretty the colors are.

As long as I can – I’m pulling for WHITE though.

  1. I’m a white Christmas lights girl too. But then every once in a while I’ll do a blue theme and have all blue lights. Multi-colors are not my thing – at all! (Hmm, maybe I should have whispered that. They do seem to be quite popular with the masses.) :)

  2. I’m with you on the white lights! We put the multi-colored lights on a couple of evergreens outside, to appease the little ones, but none are allowed inside!

  3. I’ve always been a white lights girl too….but recently I’m starting to be pulled over to the dark…errr, COLORED…side. The rainbow of lights really can be beautiful as long as it’s not overdone, and the kiddos joy is pretty appealing too. :o )

  4. I do like the look of white lights, but the kids and husband love the colored ones so I have come to terms with it. We actually have a couple of inches of the white stuff here, which doesn’t happen very often. Your tree looks gorgeous!!!

  5. White the white lights are pretty…..I am a colored lights kind of gal! Always had colored lights on the tree!

Now here’s one for you – angel tree topper or star?

  6. Check out FB – I have some unofficial Christmas surveys going on…. :) colored lights or white? angel tree topper or star?
