Jamie and I finished the capes, party favors and cupcakes for our Birthday Party package last week. And I packed them all up in a box, and didn’t take a single photo of it!!
The cupcakes were cute. We did half of the favors, capes and cupcakes for Chase in a superhero theme (red and blue) and the other half for Peyton in a princess theme (purple and pink.) They loved it, so that was a job well done. (And I’m so happy that it IS done.)
We were running through the Christmas aisle today at Target and Addie found these sweet little bird ornaments and was ecstatically trying to show them to me. Emma took one look at them and said, “Oh, we could so make those Mama – couldn’t we?”
Yes. That IS my girl. So we had to buy one to use as a sample. We’ll see if we “so can make them” or not.
But first I will frantically be sewing so I have something – ANYthing – to put out on the table at the Boutique next week. Right now all I have are a lot of pillowcase dresses cut out and pinned with bias tape. We will be cramming for the next week and a half.
Since we will need to display the little dresses with long sleeved tees and leggings (the dresses won’t work in winter – even here in California) does anyone have any ideas where we might find a little kid dress form? Preferably a cheap one?
And anyone have any good crafty stuff to show this week? I know Jen and Stacy must…now that Christmas season is upon us.
Those dresses are going to be so cute when all completed! I love those cupcake toppers, too. I’m sure that birthday party was super fun for the little ones.
Today I have another dress for a birthday gift. I love how it turned out…so cute!
Those pillowcase dresses look adorable. You always find the cutest pillowcases. Emma is right. You will totally be able to copy that bird ornament. I have been preparing for a charity shop that my firend is putting together. That’s what I have for today.
I love the pillow case dresses! Any of our craftiness this week came in the form of finishing Eden’s Christmas pictures & addressing a lot of Christmas cards. Good luck cramming this week– I’m sure you’ll have plenty to show at the boutique! Good luck!
Have you checked hobby lobby for a dress form? I know I’ve seen them there. I was SO crafty this past weekend but I’m saving it til next week cuz I haven’t taken a picture of it yet.
And SuperMom does it again! Lovin’ all the crafty goodness, and I love it even more that Em is so on board with you and the crafty fun. She is SO your daughter. :o) You find the BEST pillowcases!
I’m guessing you’re so busy working you won’t even see this comment until Friday. 😉 I don’t know how you keep up. But you do, and you turn out such fabo stuff!
No idea on the dress form btw.
