Hey Diddle Diddle, The Cat and the Piddle.

I love kitties. I always have. I remember working J. for months after we got married in order to get our first kitty – I wore him down and he finally gave in. And I knew when we talked about getting a “friend” for Tiger and a kitty for Addie that I would be the one to really take care of the cats. And I’m totally okay with that. And Lily, on her own, is a very sweet kitty.

But…she has got to go.

Seriously. I think we might need to let Lily go to a family where she can be fully appreciated. Where she won’t stress Tiger out so much. Where she won’t try to become the alpha cat and pee on everything. Where her owner won’t look at her and wonder what frustrating feat she will be performing today.

And then I look at her sweet face. And I feel so badly.

But really? I’m at the end of my leash over here.

  1. Oh, what a horrible decision to have to make. I am sure what ever you decide will be what is best for you guys and the kitty.

  2. Oh no! I can’t remember. Is Lily the new kitty or the old one? I don’t envy you having to make that hard choice. Maybe you can find a cat whisperer? (I know you live in L.A. but I really was kidding.) ;)

  3. I understand. I’ve been there twice before…sometimes it just doesn’t work despite loving the little rascals! We tried once with two males – it didn’t work. So then we tried with a male and a female – and it still didn’t work! sigh. Good luck!
