I’m still in the midst of unpacking and tackling the mountain of “we-were-out-of-town-for-two-weeks” tasks that had piled up. But a very special best friend of Em’s turned 7 over the weekend, so I had to try this tutorial.
And…ta-da! A bike basket for our sweet girl.
Notice the use of the chalkboard fabric! It is so very handy for lots of things.
And we have a new little pet in our household. Emmy and Daddy brought this little Owly home for me from ComiCon this past weekend. (OH, yes…J’s comic nerdiness has indeed worn off onto Em!)
How cute is he, though? See why I have to learn how to felt? Next on the ever-expanding list of things to do…
Bean, The bike basket is adorable. I love the colors. How nice of J & E to to bring you home a cute pet. So what felting craft are you going to come up with?
Miss you
That bike basket is so very cute! Love that you used the chalkboard fabric on it, too. I must get me some of that.
That is an adorable little owl, too. I have felting on my to-do list, too.
I didn’t even know there was such a thing as chalkboard fabric… I need to search that out. I also want to try my hand at felting but am afraid it’s just one more thing to spend too much money on!
Seriously the cutest bike basket ever.
Whooo, Whooo rocks? (Sorry, the owl made me do it.) You do! That’s a cool project. I’d never have thought to do a bike basket out of fabric.
CUTE OWL ALERT!!
I love the fabric you used for the lining of the basket. SO PRETTY.
