I’m back!

Hello all ye faithful readers! I am sorry about the long absence – it was the longest I have gone without blogging since I started this so many months ago. I would have been able to post pics and chaos stories more easily if I had not been in a battle with the lovely cable company for the past two days. But alas, it is all up and running and I am giddy with excitement about being back online. I think I may have a wee bit of an addiction to the internet…it was like going cold-turkey. I seriously needed a fix!

But anyhow, we are all moved in. The girls are running crazy, wild and free in the new place. They barely even minded the disruption. Of course while I was packing and moving all day on Wednesday, they spent the day with their two friends and Michelle and they had the most amazingly fun day. They didn’t stop for 12 hours, and when I went to pick them up and they were all bathed and fed and ready for bed.  Not only that, Michelle sent me home with a full tummy and a full-on dinner for J. and I for the first night in our new home. It was amazing! I can’t thank you enough, sweet Michelle! It made the most stressful week so much better.

I did post pics up to our Flickr account of the new house…I’m still trying to get all of the descriptions updated so you know what is what – especially since I took the pics before all our crap got dropped into the house. I’ll work on that in the next day or two and update the unpacking process as well.

Thanks for hanging out and waiting for my return! We’ll see you again tomorrow…

  1. Your new house is beautiful……Can’t wait to see it in person. The girls seem to be enjoying the extra room to run and play. Glad that your move went well…..Take care….Love you all

  2. the house looks beautiful Care! man, I can’t wait until we’re back in a house, apartment living is no fun!

  3. The house is beautiful! And I can completely relate to the internet withdrawal. Ours was out for a mere 3 hours one day and I almost went crazy. I wonder if there’s a support group for this….

  4. SO-O-O happy to see your message and realize that some sense of normalcy is returning to the V. family. Very happy that all that hectic moving is behind you and you can settle in to that beautiful house with all the room — and the weird neighbors are nothing but a distant memory! Much love to all of you –

    Aunt V
