Crafty Tuesday

Ah jeez. Is it really already Tuesday again? The past week has kind of been a blur. So much for a nice easy start to 2010. We had seven (!) birthdays last week. Four of the birthdays were for little ones and I put together three SuperCapes and a sweet little bird dress.

And, well…I remembered to take a photo of all of the goodies…

…right after I finished wrapping all of them for the birthday parties on Saturday. Grrr…but I’ll make sure to take photos of the SuperCapes in action and Faith’s dress when I get a chance. As it was J. and I had to divide and conquer to get all of the birthday parties in, so I am just happy I was able to get gifts made, wrapped and delivered.

I did remember to take pics of the cards I sent out for family Birthdays last week. This one…

And I finished a little coffee cozy for Papa and one for Addie’s metal canteen. She has been asking for one with a cat on it and squealed when she opened this one. I made another one for our friend Jessica with a kitty on it for Christmas too…and forgot to photograph that one too. Ah well, whatcha gonna do?

My sweet aunt did remind me last week that I didn’t show one of my other Christmas crafts. The calendar. Each year I do a calendar for our friends and family. It is quite the production. This year I simplified it a bit by sending it out to be printed and it honestly ended up being cheaper and much less of a headache, too.

I was very happy with the quality, I think they turned out very nice. And did I mention the whole process was much easier?
You can see all of the months over here, if you would like.

I cut two more projects out last night to be put together for this week’s birthdays. Hopefully I’ll get some good crafting time today to whip them up. But I’m sure I’ll need a break later on, so show me what crafty goodness you have this week!

  1. You have been biz-ay! So much craftiness, and you managed to even wrap the things you make beautifully. Amazing. I’m in awe of your productivity. :)

  2. Hey Carrie! Hope you all had a nice holiday season. I did the same thing as you with the gifts. Completely forgot to take pictures. I made a really cute pink and white baby outfit over the holidays. Oh well. Today I finally have pictures up of my sewing room. I figured I might as well get some pictures up since I had that post ready to go…mostly. I wanted to take pictures in the daylight, but that didn’t happen. I have few knitting projects that I need to take photos of yet. Hopefully by next week.

I really love your calendar…you did such a good job on it! Way more creative than mine. I just put one big picture for each month and called it good LOL!

  3. That calendar is SOOOOO cute like over the top adorable. Where do you get all your online scrapbooking goodies? I have issues with photographing things too. It seems like so much work sometimes. Hopefully you will get a much needed break soon.

  4. Oh yeah. I forgot to mention the cozies. I LOVE them both, but Addie’s cat is too, too sweet. I have some craftiness up too now.

  5. Oh, I loooove that calendar! So crafty ;)

7 parties…yikes! Good thing you make the gifts, that could get a bit pricey! :)

  6. Oh my gosh, that calendar is aMAZing. So totally adorable. The quickie I whipped together pales in comparison. You are awesome Carrie, and your girls are just so darn cute.

Now – SEVEN birthdays in a week?! Wow. I guess I’m not allowed to complain anymore. :)

Seems like taking pics of the craftiness really is the hardest part. I forgot some of mine, too. Will have a post up shortly with what I do have, tho.

Oh, and love the kitty cat cozy!
