LOL! We may not have much sand here, but we still manage to find plenty of dirt and messy food and sweat!
Can you imagine doing that now, at our age? When do we lose that desire? And why is it so much fun to then? Itchy, scratchy.
Oh, I bet washing sand out of that beautiful curly hair is fun.
I am sure it was totally worth it.
