My mom will probably be mad that I wrote about this, but hey…it is my blog and you have to expect if you are in my family or one of my friends I’m going to write about you at some point. And seriously, this is just priceless. I don’t think I have laughed this hard in a very long time. I know it won’t be nearly as funny written out here as it was when my dad told me about it this morning….but here goes.

Mom’s frantic search for her glasses – as told by Dad, Thursday morning.

My mom comes upstairs as my dad is getting ready for an appointment.

Mom: “Hey, have you seen my glasses? I can’t find them anywhere.” (She does seem to be looking for them a lot!)
Dad: “Nope. Where did you put that green mask (Avon!) on, maybe you took them off there?”
Mom: “Downstairs, but I just looked, they aren’t there. I don’t know where I could have put them.”

(Dad turns around.)

Dad: “Um, you have your glasses on your face.”

(Yes, she has them ON!!)

Ah, yes…that must be where she “left” them. Wow, that last birthday might have hit you a little hard, Mom! I’m thinking that or you might need a little stronger prescription. I’ve been shopping online for a bedazzling eyeglass chain that I can send her to keep them around her neck to avoid a situation like this in the future.
