And I couldn&#8217;t be happier.<\/p>\n<p>It is so funny how often I long for something, get it and then realize &#8220;oh, that isn&#8217;t what I wanted at all.&#8221; I *thought* having a few evenings to myself would be a great treat, but come to find out &#8211; I don&#8217;t like being a single parent. Even during a\u00a0relatively\u00a0&#8220;easy&#8221; week with nothing more than our normal ballet, dance, piano, volleyball practice, choir, Girl Scouts routine (yeah, that is a normal week&#8230;) it is an exhausting week when you can&#8217;t check out for a bit when Daddy comes home.<\/p>\n<p>And even when the girls are just being their sweet selves&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/?attachment_id=3982\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3982\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3982\" alt=\"9936_4973180920338_1745581786_n\" src=\"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/9936_4973180920338_1745581786_n.jpg\" width=\"612\" height=\"612\" srcset=\"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/9936_4973180920338_1745581786_n.jpg 612w, http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/9936_4973180920338_1745581786_n-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/9936_4973180920338_1745581786_n-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px\" \/><\/a>&#8230;it&#8217;s just not as fun without my most-excellent sidekick.
