I finished up a Birthday gift for a 6 year old&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0002 by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6509199493\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7149\/6509199493_b5a3cc5475_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0002\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I finished up those little gift card purses for Aunt Laura&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0007 by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6509200275\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7143\/6509200275_363c541088_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0007\" width=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>That tutorial is SO coming&#8230;it is just in pieces because my Birdie friend and I decided that it would be smart (!?) to offer up our services to the entire 3rd grade. You see, our 3rd graders need a Grinch shirt for the holiday program, so&#8230;doing the shirts for a few friends turned into almost 60 tees&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0152 by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6509201917\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7159\/6509201917_4d975bdecb_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0152\" width=\"600\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Oh, why and how do we get ourselves into these things? J. refers to us as &#8220;Lucy and Ethel and our hair-brained ideas,&#8221; and yeah&#8230;I can kinda see it &#8211; some days. But surely the kids are going to look back and appreciate the time it took us to put all of these together to make them the standout grade at the pageant, right?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0151 by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6509201005\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7165\/6509201005_a5fd8ae7f8_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0151\" width=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yeah, right.<\/p>\n<p>My Birdie Jamie and I DID also tackle glass etching last week! And this really <em><strong>was <\/strong><\/em>one of our better ideas &#8211; our wine glasses at the Christmas party were a definite hit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0659 by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6509198213\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7003\/6509198213_0f4a42e915_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0659\" width=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the stemless wineglasses we numbered them &#8211; so no more lost wine glasses!
