{"id":3293,"date":"2011-11-23T21:55:04","date_gmt":"2011-11-24T04:55:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/?p=3293"},"modified":"2011-11-23T21:55:04","modified_gmt":"2011-11-24T04:55:04","slug":"a-thankful-thanksgiving-eve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/?p=3293","title":{"rendered":"A thankful Thanksgiving Eve."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On this eve of Thanksgiving I have quite a list of &#8220;Thankfuls:&#8221;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful to wake up each and every day next to the man I love.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful to have the very best job of &#8220;Mommy&#8221; to two amazing girls.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful for our families (all of you &#8211; no matter where you are tomorrow) and their continued health.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful to have a house of &#8220;all our own&#8221; this year to celebrate Thanksgiving in.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful for the food that will be on our table tomorrow, especially <a href=\"http:\/\/lifehacker.com\/5860136\/this-is-how-you-should-cook-your-turkey-next-thursday-or-you-could-waste-hours-of-your-life?tag=turkey\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/smittenkitchen.com\/2011\/11\/sweet-potato-and-marshmallow-biscuits\/#more-7968\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/camillestyles.com\/2011\/tuesday-tastings-mason-jar-tiny-pies\/\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful to not have to go anywhere on Black Friday &#8211; except for maybe Disneyland.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful my Christmas cards are completed and on my dining room table.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful that Elfette (formerly known as Elfie) returns to our house tomorrow night.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m thankful for each sunrise and sunset &#8211; each new day I get to spend on this Earth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/barelycontrolledchaos.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/photo3.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\n<a title=\"Sunset by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/6392956133\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7009\/6392956133_b1f0905aa9_z.jpg\" alt=\"Sunset\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I hope you all have a very thankful Thanksgiving tomorrow and are feeling as blessed as we are.<\/p>\n<p>Happy Thanksgiving.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On this eve of Thanksgiving I have quite a list of &#8220;Thankfuls:&#8221; I&#8217;m thankful to wake up each and every day next to the man I love.
