And Quiet. Very Quiet."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today, (finally!) Addie got to start school. She is doing M-W-F this year and is thrilled to be going to school even more than she got to last year.<\/p>\n<p>We met her new teachers (one of them is her Sunday School teacher) on Monday and every 30 minutes or so since then she has asked, &#8220;On this day, do I get to go to school?&#8221; (I LOVE that she always says that, &#8220;On <em><strong>this<\/strong><\/em> day&#8230;&#8221;)<\/p>\n<p>(Apparently I am in love with parentheses today, too.)<br \/>\n(I think that is what happens when you are giddy with a quiet house all to yourself.)<br \/>\n(Okay, I&#8217;ll stop now.)<\/p>\n<p>So anyhow, on <em><strong>THIS<\/strong><\/em> day, was Addie&#8217;s first day. The requisite first-day-of-school-under-the-tree-photo&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0096.jpg by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/3926846338\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm3.static.flickr.com\/2507\/3926846338_93edb02c9b_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0096.jpg\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And the first survey of her new classroom before kissing Mommy and Daddy goodbye and dismissing us&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a title=\"DSC_0099_ad.jpg by Voris, on Flickr\" href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/voris\/3926064775\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/farm4.static.flickr.com\/3485\/3926064775_bdf6533baf_b.jpg\" alt=\"DSC_0099_ad.jpg\" width=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>What a difference a year makes! There wasn&#8217;t even a discussion if Bear should accompany her to school. I helped with the Parent coffee, ran to Em&#8217;s school and volunteered in her classroom and am now enjoying my own coffee and catching up on emails before I go pick Ad up.
