And now we have a super second-grader….
And a kickin’ kindergartener….
Although they were not feeling very cooperative this morning…
At least not cooperative at the SAME time…
Emma looks to me like she is heading off to fourth grade! She looks so old.
And once she found her BFF, she pretty much charged into the classroom and never looked back.
Addie was a little more cautious and unsure. But she was happy to have her best friend to walk to school with.
And after signing in…
And a little quiet time in the classroom with Daddy…
She was all set and ready for school.
And Mama walked back home with Daddy with dry eyes.
Yes, you heard me! The world did not implode. The hours flew by and before I knew it – it was time to walk over and pick up both my girls from school.
A good first day for all of us.
they both look so grown up! (and adorable too!) the bean starts kindergarten on monday and she has a dress similar to addie’s to wear that first day.
hard to believe that they are 5 and in kindergarten, isn’t it?
They do look so big but adorable. I can tell from what they are wearing what the style is this year.
Wow, Where does the time go. It seems just like yesterday that they were born. They sure looked adorable for their first day of school. Glad that it went good for you…not even one tear?

What did you do with your time that day? Crazy how you think it will be so much time and in a flash the day has flown by. Maybe with all day kindergarten it’s different….but when James left for half day kindergarten (lo those 9 years ago) I thought I’d get sooo much done. But after walking home – chatting with neighbor for a few minutes and the time to walk back to school when he was done – there wasn’t a whole heck of a lot of time to really dive into a project!
And now he is a freshman!!!
So glad to hear that it was fabulous! And boy do they look adorable and ready to take on the world. The time does fly by doesn’t it?
